Description

Lead backend development of Java server applications and distributed components. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and build RESTful APIs and distributed components.
• Own the development, maintenance, and optimization of Java server applications in a Unix environment.
• Manage development processes including code maintenance strategy, branching, merging, and quality checks.
• Design and develop proof-of-concept prototypes for advanced features.
• Guide development teams and optimize application performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java (Java 10+).
• Mandatory experience in order management within the retail domain.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Proficiency with messaging systems like Kafka.
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with J2EE technologies (EJBs, servlets, JSP, Struts).
• Experience coding and designing RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of XML technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
