Description

You will lead backend development efforts using Java and AWS services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide a development team of 8 or more engineers.
• Design and implement REST APIs using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Coordinate development tasks between offshore and onshore teams.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a Java Backend Developer.
• 3+ years experience in a lead role managing at least 8 people.
• Expertise in Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with AWS services (IAM, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating across distributed global teams.
