Description

You will lead a development team while maintaining hands-on involvement in coding, system design, and architecture for scalable Java-based applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical guidance, mentoring, and code reviews for the development team.
• Design and develop secure, scalable backend services and define technical solutions.
• Own the architecture, implementation, and deployment of backend services using AWS.
• Enforce best practices in coding, testing (TDD), and DevOps processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across production and development environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java (8, 11, 17), including Streams, Lambda, and Concurrency.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Security, JWT, and OAuth.
• Experience with Microservices architecture, design patterns, and distributed transactions.
• Knowledge of RDBMS and JPA.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Proficiency with JUnit, Mockito, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong ability to manage and mentor developers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Fintech or related domains.
• Familiarity with Event-Driven Architecture and Reactive Programming.
