Description

Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable backend systems with a focus on code quality and rigorous testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable backend systems using Java and related technologies.
• Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests to ensure codebase reliability.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on clean code practices.
• Optimize application performance and scalability through continuous refactoring.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and product managers within Agile workflows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Java (JDK 8 and above).
• Strong command of OOP principles and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
• Hands-on experience with JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
