Description

You will lead backend development of reactive, high-performance Java services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement functional and reactive programming patterns using Java 8 and Spring Boot WebFlux.
• Design and secure RESTful APIs using Swagger specifications.
• Write test-driven code and apply GoF design patterns to ensure maintainability.
• Analyze system performance through heap/thread dump analysis and API performance testing.
• Manage application monitoring and deployment using Grafana, Prometheus, and Git workflows.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Java 8, including Lambdas, Streams, Completable Future, and Generics.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, specifically WebFlux (Reactor 3), Spring Data, and REST.
• Strong background in functional and reactive programming models.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Couchbase.
• Practical knowledge of API design, security, and tools like Curl and Postman.
• Competency with Linux command line, Gradle, Git, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
