Description

Lead the technical direction and execution for backend systems, owning architecture design and team mentorship.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, maintainable backend architectures and establish engineering standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, managing execution and process.
• Define coding guidelines and automation to improve code quality.
• Drive the transition from monolithic applications to modern microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with architects to deploy and optimize applications on AWS.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in MySQL and relational database design.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Docker and Containerization.
• 2+ years of experience leading a development team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Hibernate.
