Description

You will lead backend development efforts focusing on scalable microservices and cloud-native architectures in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Manage data streaming and messaging workflows with Kafka.
• Architect and maintain database solutions using NoSQL technologies.
• Deploy and manage services within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Drive development cycles using Scrum and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 12 to 15 years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience with Kafka and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design.
• Proficiency with Gitflow and CI/CD tools including Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Experience using Atlassian tools such as BitBucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision.
