Description

Lead the technical design, development, and maintenance of multi-tiered transactional systems within a government environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop multifaceted component-based systems and write technical design specification documents.
• Manage system analysis and design for complex, multi-tiered transactional architectures.
• Perform performance tuning for applications interacting with databases.
• Maintain and provide end-user support for complex systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with J2EE technologies including EJBs, JDBC, JSP, and XML.
• 7+ years of Java programming within an IBM development environment using Rational Application Developer (RAD).
• 7+ years of experience deploying applications to WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• 7+ years of IBM DB2 experience, including database management, XML schema definition, querying, and automated generation.
• 5+ years of experience with IBM MQSeries.
• 5+ years of experience in performance tuning applications and database interactions.
• 3+ years of experience working within a government organization.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate-level education.
