Description

Lead backend development using Core Java and the Spring ecosystem to build scalable services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful web services using JSON, JSON-API, or GraphQL.
• Write high-quality code following Test Driven Development and Agile methodologies.
• Manage data persistence using Spring JDBC template, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Implement messaging solutions using JMS and ActiveMQ.
• Maintain and optimize distributed data storage and in-memory caching systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of total software development experience.
• 6+ years of experience with Core Java at a Lead level.
• 3+ years of experience with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or Assert-J.
• Experience with NoSQL systems such as Cassandra, Couchbase, Riak, or Redis.
• Experience with SQL Server and database access via JPA or Hibernate.
• Experience with Cucumber, Selenium, or SoapUI.
• Experience with Jenkins and Maven.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a start-up environment.
• Development experience in multi-tenant, international eCommerce settings.
