Description

You will lead development efforts on complex Java services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and API Gateways.
• Own the deployment pipeline using DevOps practices including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ensure code quality by adhering to standards and actively participating in code reviews.
• Lead technical direction for development teams in an agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Java and related development.
• 5+ years of experience in Microservices architecture and development.
• Expertise in Java Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Dataflow.
• Proficiency with cloud environments, specifically GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid grasp of design patterns, data structures, and OOP principles.
• Experience with relational (MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with messaging platforms like Kafka.
