Description

Lead engineering teams to develop distributed fulfillment infrastructure and robotics solutions, owning technical direction and mentoring staff.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams in product development and engineering processes.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement core capabilities based on customer use cases.
• Partner with the Engineering Manager to prioritize the product backlog and assign stories.
• Design and build fault-tolerant distributed systems across multiple layers of the stack.
• Participate in software architecture and system design decisions.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java, Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• 1+ years of experience in software architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• 1+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 1+ years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD.
• Strong proficiency in Data Structures, Algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Solid understanding of System Design.
• Experience with JSON and XML.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React JS, Angular, and RESTful services.
• Knowledge of containerization, blue-green deployments, and version control systems.
