Description

Lead a development team of five or more engineers in a finance payments and check processing environment. Own the full lifecycle of large-scale enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Architect microservices and event-driven systems using Kafka and stream processing.
• Design and implement multi-threaded web applications using OOAD and design patterns.
• Drive product development using Domain Driven Design (DDD) and API-driven methodologies.
• Deliver high-value projects within an Agile (SCRUM) framework using JIRA.

Required Skills

• Java/J2EE and Spring (Core, MVC, AOP, Batch).
• Kafka and event-driven/stream processing technologies.
• Web Services including REST, SOAP, and JSON.
• Cloud technologies such as AWS or PCF.
• Microservices architecture and database experience with Oracle and MongoDB.
• Strong OOAD, design patterns, and multi-threaded application development.
• Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD).
• Hands-on testing with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Karate.
• Unit testing (JUnit) and TDD practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the finance industry payments or check processing landscape.
• Experience with large enterprise scale integrations for customer-facing applications.
