Description

You will lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality, scalable features and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction, oversight, and coaching to a team of engineers working on complex tasks.
• Own application architecture, design, and the development of secure, high-quality production code.
• Participate in architecture and engineering code reviews to ensure compliance with standards.
• Drive decisions regarding product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
• Create and execute automated test plans and strategies to validate test environments and results.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of experience developing or architecting large, complex systems.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Java.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Rest Framework for microservices development.
• Experience with front-end frameworks including AngularJS or ReactJS.
• Experience with NodeJS and backend development.
• Experience writing scalable and secure APIs.
• Experience with public cloud platforms, specifically Azure or AWS.
• Experience with TDD and modern testing frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.
