Description

Lead technical development and mentor engineers while owning code quality and system architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous technical code reviews.
• Design and implement Java microservice applications and ecosystem components.
• Develop performant algorithms using complex graph and tree data structures.
• Deploy and maintain systems using eventing infrastructure and message-based stream processing.
• Manage heterogeneous data storage and cache layers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years working specifically with complex data processing systems.
• Expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot and Dropwizard.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and databases such as Postgres, Oracle, or Neo4j.
• Experience with enterprise search engines like Elasticsearch, Solr, or Lucene.
• Proficiency with message-based stream processing using Kafka, Kafka Streams, or Spark.
• Experience deploying systems via Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing GraphQL and federated GraphQL APIs.
• Experience validating, versioning, or processing large XML or JSON feeds.
• Background in maintaining or developing large CMS applications.
