Description

Lead a team of developers to design, build, and deploy scalable Java applications and microservices on AWS.

You will own the release pipeline and ensure high-quality code through mentoring and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, conducting regular code reviews.
• Design and maintain Java-based applications using Spring framework and RESTful APIs.
• Architect and implement cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Develop data processing applications using Apache Spark integrated with cloud infrastructure.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes to automate build and deployment processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java development.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Proficiency with Apache Spark for big data processing.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in version control using Git.
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as CircleCI.
• Knowledge of distributed computing, large-scale system design, or Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular or React.

Bachelor's Degree required.
