Description

Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of system and software architecture for enterprise systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and implement solutions using object-oriented, service-oriented, and n-tier architectures.
• Execute the software development lifecycle following state and industry best practices.
• Perform analysis, design, integration, and maintenance of enterprise systems within project teams.
• Develop delivery approaches, labor estimates, and cost estimates for projects.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional development experience with Java and J2EE.
• Experience designing and implementing Java MVC frameworks (Struts MVC) and ORM tools (Hibernate/JPA).
• Proficiency with JavaScript, Web Services, and EJB.
• Experience developing procedures and queries with Microsoft SQL Server (2016+), Oracle, or Postgres.
• Experience with Java batch jobs and both web-based and client-server architecture.
• Strong Object Oriented Analysis and design skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java Spring Boot, microservices, and Cloud-based deployment.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, or Maven.
• Public retirement systems domain knowledge.
