Description

Design and build scalable microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot on Azure Cloud.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop RESTful APIs using Open API 3.0, JAX-RS, and Jakarta REST.
• Design complex database integrations with SQL Server, JPA/Hibernate, and Spring Data.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Confluent Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Gradle, Docker, and Azure DevOps.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests with JUnit 5, Spock, and Jacoco.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• 4+ years with the Spring Framework, including Boot, Data, and Cloud.
• Strong expertise in REST API design and implementation.
• Proficient in JPA/Hibernate, SQL, and SQL Server/T-SQL.
• Experience with microservices architecture and event patterns (Event Sourcing, CQRS, Pub/Sub).
• Solid testing skills using JUnit, Mockito, and SonarQube.
• Git version control expertise.
• Knowledge of Docker containerization and Azure Cloud.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in mortgage servicing or financial services.
• Familiarity with AWS and Akamai.
