Description

You will design and build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs while leading technical initiatives for the engineering team.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and Python.
• Implement AWS serverless solutions, including Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Manage CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Java and Python.
• Expertise in API development and microservice architecture using Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and serverless design patterns.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and cloud-native principles.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tooling, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in production support and familiarity with alerting tools like PagerDuty.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
