Description

Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and high-availability systems using Java and modern architectural patterns.
• Write testable, efficient code and implement automated testing platforms with unit tests.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, including deployment to production environments.
• Monitor system performance and implement solutions to optimize latency and throughput.
• Create database schemas and integrate with RESTful web services and JDBC.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Java and its ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of OOPs patterns, concurrency, and design principles.
• Proficiency with build tools: Ant, Maven, or Gradle.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Knowledge of MVC patterns and RESTful web service development.
• Ability to write reusable Java libraries and understand JVM internals.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Java GUI frameworks such as Swing, SWT, or AWT.
