Description

You will design, develop, and maintain the middle tier of a SaaS application, owning the full lifecycle from requirements to release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable web and mobile application components using Java and Spring Boot.
• Review business requirements and functional specifications with Product Owners to ensure technical feasibility.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews to uphold engineering standards.
• Coordinate with QA and Configuration Management teams for builds, releases, test case design, and defect resolution.
• Mentor teammates on Java design patterns and advocate for code quality and TDD practices.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Java experience, including Java 17 or greater.
• 6+ years of experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
• 4+ years of experience with Spring Data JPA.
• 2+ years of experience with Kafka, including deep understanding of Producers and Consumers.
• Expertise in Microservice Architecture and Object Oriented Design (OOD).
• Proficiency in Test Driven Development (TDD) with strong Unit testing using JUnit 5.
• Experience developing applications handling heavy transaction volumes.
• Experience with cloud technologies, specifically GCP or AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dynatrace and Kibana for monitoring and logging.
