Description

You own the technical lifecycle of Java-based microservices and multiple development workstreams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical, configuration, and code reviews to enforce quality standards.
• Own the full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, and defect fixes.
• Manage application deployment across production and non-production environments.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities using static and dynamic analysis tools.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure transparency.

Required Skills

• 16+ years of experience managing web application development teams specializing in Java.
• Extensive experience architecting and developing Java applications and microservices.
• Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and JSP.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services including ACA/AKS, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and APIM.
• Expertise with Azure DevOps, GIT, and CI/CD build/release pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols: HTTPS, SAML, OpenID, and OAuth.
• Proficiency with Maven, Gradle, or ANT build tools.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Azure AI Services and Azure Machine Learning.
• Experience with Elastic, Dynatrace, .NET applications, Microsoft Dataverse, Web CMS, or Salesforce.
