Description

Lead the architecture and development of Java-based microservices within an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Manage and optimize data workflows using AWS EMR, Batch, and RDS.
• Oversee deployment and orchestration using ECS and Lambda.
• Maintain system observability and monitoring using CloudWatch and Splunk.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: EMR, Batch, ECS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Experience managing RDS and Aurora databases.
• Proficiency with Kafka for event streaming.
• Experience using Splunk and CloudWatch for monitoring.
• Version control experience with GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python.
