Description

You will own the development and maintenance of financing, swaps, and trading platforms within the Equities Development team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with traders, quants, and risk teams to support equities workflows.
• Develop and maintain core components of trading platforms, including Order Management and Market Data Systems.
• Implement solutions using Java within the Capital Markets domain.
• Integrate services using messaging queues and data streaming technologies.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience in software development.
• 5+ years of Java development specifically in Equities or Capital Markets.
• Strong proficiency with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Database expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of equities, equity derivatives, and the FIX protocol.
• Experience with trading platforms (Order Management, Stock Loan).
• Familiarity with Git and Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
