Description

Lead the end-to-end delivery of GIAS interface modifications and enhancements, providing technical direction for scalable solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure-based web services and GIAS-related enhancements.
• Lead code reviews, design validations, and data conversion activities for billing and accounting modules.
• Configure Azure DevOps repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams for environment setup and batch job scheduling using Tidal, GOA, or ActiveBatch.
• Mentor junior developers and manage production deployments during US Eastern Time hours.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Deep expertise in Core Java, SQL, Hibernate, JDBC, OOP, Data Structures, Multithreading, JDK, and JVM.
• Strong proficiency with Spring, JSP, Servlets, MVC architecture, and HTML.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Maven, and exception handling.
• Hands-on experience with Eclipse IDE.
• Strong background in the Insurance domain, specifically Policy Administration Systems.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployments.
• Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience working with GIAS (Group Insurance Administration System).
• Knowledge of Liquibase scripts and database versioning.
• Exposure to Medicare or Health Insurance domains.
