Description

You will lead the replatforming of a legacy mainframe application into a new Java-based system.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop a new Java-based application to replace existing mainframe service layers.
• Execute the migration of data and logic from mainframe systems to Oracle Database.
• Build and implement frameworks to support client onboarding and servicing functionality.
• Drive the development lifecycle to meet aggressive production timelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Core Java.
• Extensive experience working with Oracle Database.
• Hands-on experience with Mainframe systems and legacy application logic.
• Practical experience implementing messaging protocols.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale system replatforming projects.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within financial services environments.
