Description

You will serve as the primary technical authority for the scrum team, driving technical design and implementation excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create low-level feature designs and evangelize them to the team through close collaboration with Architects and Analysts.
• Define and enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and validate unit tests, performance profiling, and implementation documentation.
• Drive automated testing by writing integration and acceptance tests following TDD/BDD principles and integrating them into the build pipeline.
• Ensure consistent implementation of established patterns and lead refactoring efforts to modernize the existing platform.
• Contribute to story grooming, estimation, and continuous process improvement within the scrum team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Expert proficiency in Java and/or Node.js.
• Extensive experience with AWS Lambda and Cloud design patterns including Event Sourcing, Pub-Sub, and API routing.
• Strong knowledge of Event Driven Architecture and integrating synchronous/asynchronous systems.
• Hands-on experience with Spring and Microservices.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically Oracle and DynamoDB.
• Experience with Angular and Okta.
• Ability to design and work with B2B Gateways and AWS Cloud architecture.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and technical communication.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing Proof of Concepts (POCs) as part of a Solution Team.
