Description

Lead technical design and implementation for the scrum team, owning feature architecture, coding standards, and modernization efforts.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Create low-level feature designs and collaborate with Architects and Analysts to evangelize solutions.
• Define coding standards, perform code reviews, and validate unit tests, performance profiling, and documentation.
• Drive automated testing by writing integration and acceptance tests using TDD/BDD principles within the build pipeline.
• Lead refactoring efforts to modernize the existing platform and ensure consistent implementation of established patterns.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java and/or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Spring framework and Microservices architecture.
• Extensive experience with AWS Lambda and Cloud design patterns (Event Sourcing, Pub-Sub, API routing).
• Strong knowledge of Event Driven Architecture and integrating synchronous/asynchronous systems.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically Oracle and DynamoDB.
• Experience with Angular and Okta for authentication and UI.
• Ability to design B2B Gateways and work with AWS Cloud architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing Proof of Concepts (POCs) as part of a Solution Team.
