Description

You will lead the design, architecture, and deployment of enterprise Java applications, modernizing legacy monoliths into cloud-native microservices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and event-driven applications using Java 8/11/17/21.
• Develop cloud-native applications with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices Architecture.
• Implement messaging and streaming solutions using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Lead code reviews, technical design discussions, sprint planning, and release management.
• Mentor development teams, establish engineering standards, and optimize application performance and security.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience with Core Java, including Collections Framework, Multithreading, Concurrency, and JVM Performance Tuning.
• Expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
• Strong background in Microservices Architecture, Distributed Systems, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience with databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm).
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, Gradle, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, Cucumber) and security standards (OAuth2, JWT, OWASP).

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLM Integration, LangChain, RAG, and AI-powered Java applications.
• Domain experience in Banking, Healthcare, Insurance, Retail, Manufacturing, or Financial Services.
