Description

You will lead the development of web applications, owning the full software lifecycle from prototype to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop software components independently, taking full ownership of design, implementation, and testing.
• Prototype new technology solutions to address complex technical requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for design, development, and testing processes.
• Collaborate with architects and team leads to implement technical specifications using standard design patterns.
• Apply test-driven development principles to ensure high code quality.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in the J2EE stack, including JSP and Servlets.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in building REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with AWS Cloud technologies (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, AWS SAM/CDK, CFT, Elastic Cache).
• Practical knowledge of Event Driven architecture and multi-threading.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle, including SQL queries and procedures.
• Competency with Unix/Linux environments and Maven or Jenkins.
• Experience using JUnit for testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JBOSS application servers.
• Familiarity with Java Swing, DevOps practices, or front-end technologies (JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, HTML5, CSS).
• Exposure to performance testing, tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
