Description

Lead the design, development, and deployment of functional applications while ensuring system reliability and scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application functionality addressing functional, non-functional, and maintenance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, deploy, and monitor applications.
• Document and improve existing engineering processes and tooling.
• Troubleshoot production incidents promptly, assessing and mitigating customer impact.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale software development.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Strong background working with the GCP cloud platform.
• Expertise in building and deploying services via CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Harness).
• Knowledge of distributed databases and RDBMS (Cassandra, Mongo, MySQL).
• Working knowledge of event-based system architecture leveraging Kafka.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NodeJS.
• Experience implementing Observability using OpenTelemetry (OTel) or Prometheus.
