Description

You will design, develop, and support moderately complex software applications within Agile delivery teams. You translate business requirements into technical designs, source code, and testing artifacts while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate frontend interfaces with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Manage database interactions using SQL and relational databases.
• Collaborate with architects to mitigate engineering risks and ensure system scalability.
• Provide production support and resolve application issues according to SLAs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Node.js.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, or Chef.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Insurance or Reinsurance systems.
• Knowledge of non-relational databases like MongoDB or Redis.
