Description

Design, develop, test, and support moderately complex software applications within Agile teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and stakeholder requirements into technical designs, source code, and testing artifacts.
• Collaborate with Software Architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Identify and mitigate engineering risks while keeping stakeholders informed of status and issues.
• Provide production support and resolve application issues in accordance with established SLAs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Node.js.
• Experience with SQL databases including Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and query optimization.
• Understanding of continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins or Octopus Deploy.
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Chef, Puppet, or Salt.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with non-relational databases like MongoDB or Redis.
• Background in Insurance or Reinsurance systems.
• Front-end development experience with Webpack, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap.
