Description

Lead the design, implementation, and development of backend software features and product infrastructure using cloud technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality code, tests, and web APIs for cloud components and analysis pipelines.
• Lead projects hands-on by collaborating with architects and product managers to deliver scalable, maintainable components.
• Embed test automation and regulatory compliance into development workflows using Lean and Agile principles.
• Own project delivery from architectural discussion through to production deployment and sizing.
• Mentor and coach engineers to maintain high standards of software quality and best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications and services.
• Expertise in Java, TypeScript, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Experience building and deploying production software on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with modern web frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Strong understanding of data structures (Stacks, Queues, LinkedLists) and algorithms.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Background in behavior-driven or test-driven development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing regulated products under design control.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Datadog, and GitHub Actions.
