Description

You will lead the development, testing, and architectural design of key banking core systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and shape the technical architecture for scalable banking services.
• Translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain highly available, scalable microservices in production.
• Mentor engineers and foster a strong technical culture.
• Identify and propose new technology initiatives for the product ecosystem.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience on a modern stack.
• Strong backend development with Java or Scala (minimum 2 years).
• Proficiency with relational databases and ORMs, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in microservices or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Hands-on experience in cloud-native environments, ideally Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka and Docker.
• Ability to participate in code reviews and design discussions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Kotlin.
• Problem-solving mindset prioritizing feature impact.
