Description

You will lead the development and optimization of a high-scale inventory system processing billions of daily events.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Power large-scale inventory systems to maximize on-site availability and minimize reject rates.
• Unify inventory management responsibilities across multiple existing systems and teams.
• Provide improved analytics and historical data insights for marketing and operations teams.
• Debug complex production issues across services and multiple layers of the stack.
• Automate repetitive manual tasks to ensure operational excellence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong coding skills in Java and J2EE technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Proven track record designing and supporting large-scale, cloud-based distributed systems.
• Experience with REST-based API development and SOA architecture.
• Proficiency with REST, API, Javascript, Angular, and React.
• Experience with distributed databases such as Cosmos or Cassandra.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
• Understanding of DevOps practices for supporting large-scale distributed systems.
