Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable Java applications hosted on AWS platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable Java applications aligned with business requirements.
• Utilize AWS cloud services to build and deploy solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot production issues and streamline code deployment processes.
• Participate in code reviews and implement best practices to improve code quality.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Profound understanding of Java and JEE internals.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, IAM, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
• Proficiency with Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies.
• Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certification.
