Description

You will lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex Java-based enterprise applications and microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with Oracle and Sybase databases.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and oversee DevOps practices for microservices deployment.
• Analyze complex business requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and define operating standards for the development team.
• Coach junior analysts, serve as a subject matter expert for stakeholders, and ensure security measures are embedded in system design.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and Sybase databases.
• Proficiency with Jenkins and DevOps methodologies.
• Proven track record of managing and implementing successful software projects.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with messaging platforms (Solace, Kafka) and distributed systems (Redis, Hazelcast).
• Familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, Gemini, GPT, Claude) and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and big data processing (Apache Flink, Spark).
