Description

You will lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of modular Java-based microservices for the platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Drive the full lifecycle of features from concept through deployment.
• Participate actively in design discussions and conduct code reviews to enforce quality standards.
• Optimize platform performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and scaling challenges.
• Collaborate with product and security teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in core Java (preferably Java 21).
• Expertise in Spring Boot and building RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Experience building applications within AWS cloud services.
• Strong command of SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with microservices architecture and backend development.
• Familiarity with application security, authentication, and authorization.
• Proficiency in Agile or Scaled Agile development methodologies.
