Description

Lead the engineering team and drive core development on Java services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering team members through complex development cycles.
• Own the design and implementation of services using Java 17-21.
• Implement and maintain integrations using SOAP and REST APIs.
• Manage deployments and operational health using Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP communication protocols.
• Working knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with SQL and DB2, including scripting and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube).
• Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Familiarity with API management concepts (Apigee).
