Description

You will lead the development of scalable, highly available distributed systems and backend applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop new APIs and host endpoints using Java and J2EE.
• Design and implement microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
• Build data-driven applications integrated with RDBMS environments.
• Drive integration testing and UAT with external vendors.
• Apply system design principles to solve complex algorithmic problems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in backend application development.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Strong experience with Microservices and the Spring framework.
• Proficiency with REST/JSON web services and standards.
• Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, or Informatica).
• Competency in Unix-based development environments.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JUnit and Selenium.
• Background in the payments or financial services industry.
