Description

Lead development of complex, distributed systems and microservices architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices and REST APIs using modern Java frameworks.
• Drive end-to-end feature development, including defining comprehensive test strategies.
• Conduct code reviews focused on performance optimization and adherence to SOLID and DRY design principles.
• Resolve operational issues across the application stack and coordinate technical work with cross-functional engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java and J2EE development.
• Proficiency in designing and building scalable microservices architectures.
• Expertise in Oracle Database and writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and deploying cloud-native applications.
• Deep understanding of SOLID, DRY, and Single Responsibility design principles.
• Familiarity with tools including Kafka, NiFi, NATS, and Zookeeper.
• Experience with distributed data stores like Cassandra and in-memory caches like Redis.
• Proven ability to optimize application performance through code review and tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Splunk for monitoring and log analysis.
