Description

You will lead the engineering effort for complex Java applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the strategic roadmap and participate actively in all scrum ceremonies.
• Define project scope, articulate specifications to development teams, and monitor timelines.
• Deliver well-designed, tested features, fixes, and enhancements across the full application lifecycle.
• Define and document best practices for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and debug systems to optimize performance and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall engineering experience.
• 6+ years experience with Java 8+.
• 4+ years experience with Spring Boot.
• 4+ years experience with Containers (Docker and orchestration like Kubernetes/EKS/Redhat).
• 4+ years experience with Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Strong understanding of microservices and HTTP/REST.
• 4+ years experience with test automation (e.g., jbehave, cucumber, selenium, junit).
• 4+ years experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment (using Jira or ADO).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with streaming/messaging technologies (Kafka, NATS, Kinesis, or Event Hub).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like DataDog or New Relic.
• Experience with Elastic Search or Apigee.
