Description

Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of high-scale payment systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical initiatives spanning multiple teams.
• Design and build RESTful services and APIs.
• Deliver production-ready code independently.
• Drive development of distributed systems.
• Manage integration of message queuing and data streaming.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the payments industry.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Ruby.
• Deep understanding of async programming models (events, callbacks, promises, async/await).
• Experience with relational databases and caching solutions.
• Expertise in designing APIs and building RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience with message queuing, data streaming, and workflow frameworks.
• Proven experience with distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
• Practical experience working within Agile software development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
