You will own the enterprise application portfolio as the primary Application SME, providing hands-on technical leadership for Java full-stack development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Track applications, technical issues, dependencies, and risks while driving solutions to completion.
• Communicate application status, technical challenges, and priorities to leadership and business stakeholders.
• Proactively identify technical issues, analyze root causes, and manage competing technical issues effectively.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to support business objectives and application delivery.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Application Development.
• Strong backend skills: Core Java, Multi-Threading, Executor Framework, Concurrency Patterns, and Java Performance Optimization.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate, MyBatis, and Microservices Architecture.
• Proficiency in JBoss and/or Apache Tomcat, XML/XSLT, and JSON.
• Strong SQL expertise including complex queries, stored procedures, database design, and performance tuning.
• Front-end skills: Angular 14+, Component Architecture, Reactive Forms, RxJS, Routing, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and JSP/JSTL.
• Active hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot in Agent Mode is mandatory for coding, debugging, testing, and code review.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/LLM Tools, AI APIs, Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• P&C Insurance Domain experience and supporting large enterprise application portfolios.
• JVM and Database Performance Tuning expertise, plus AWS experience or certifications.
