Lead the development of scalable backend services and integrated frontend applications in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Java 11+ and the Spring ecosystem.
• Apply SOLID principles, Domain Driven Design, and layered architectures to complex codebases.
• Manage distributed concurrency and implement event-driven architectures.
• Refactor existing code and debug complex distributed systems to maintain high quality.
• Own the implementation of CQRS, event sourcing, and 12-factor application patterns.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level Object Oriented Programming and proficient Functional Programming.
• Deep expertise in Java 11, Spring, and microservice/cloud patterns.
• Strong background in data stores and SQL.
• Experience with Single Page Applications using HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge of concurrency and distributed concurrency models.
• Practical application of Domain Driven Design and layered architectures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with REST/HATEOAS and .Net.
• Familiarity with Event Driven Architecture and CQRS/Event Sourcing.
