Description

You will lead the architecture and development of critical risk and trading systems, overseeing technical direction and deliverables for a team of developers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and functional requirements into technical implementations for process automation and new application development.
• Lead systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and integration of server applications.
• Develop detailed design specifications, including interfaces to backend services.
• Oversee the deliverables and timelines of other developers, providing technical direction.
• Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle and drive process improvement.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of work experience in Software Development, including 3+ years in a Lead Java role.
• 5+ years building Trading/Price/Risk systems at a financial institution (bank, hedge fund, prop shop).
• 7+ years developing large-scale enterprise applications using Java.
• 7+ years using modern frameworks such as Spring, JPA/Hibernate, and Camel.
• 7+ years using database development concepts (SQL, PL/SQL, views).
• Experience with Microservice/SOA based architecture and Agile environments.
• Experience developing distributed, High-Performance, Resilient Architecture.
• Familiarity with JMS, REST, and WebSockets.
