Description

Lead technical design and implementation of scalable Java microservices. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level designs into detailed, extensible low-level designs.
• Design and develop producer and consumer REST services.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous unit testing and consistent coverage.
• Collaborate with engineers to influence product strategy and customer journey architecture.
• Articulate design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert proficiency in Core Java and Java Microservices.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
• Deep understanding of Hibernate or similar ORM technologies.
• Experience designing and deploying services on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or PCF).
• Proficiency with Git and JIRA.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
