Description

Lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise Java applications and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Define project-level architecture and processes using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Translate business requirements into microservice components and UML documentation using Visio and Confluence.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery, including requirements analysis, design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
• Build low-latency financial applications using JMS, RESTful services, and PL/SQL on Red Hat Linux.
• Monitor production applications via Splunk and AppDynamics to resolve live issues within SLA.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture or engineering.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Tomcat and PL/SQL (Sybase preferred).
• Experience with Red Hat Linux environments.
• Strong testing skills using JUnit, Mockito, PowerMockito, and SpringTest frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Ability to write KSH/BASH scripts for automation.
• Experience using Sonar and Veracode for code quality checkpoints.
• Knowledge of deploying applications in GCP using Docker.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM MQ.
• Familiarity with Sybase.
