Description

Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise banking applications while mentoring development teams and establishing technical standards.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Provide technical direction, conduct code reviews, and define coding guidelines for distributed systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and manage containerized deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement secure coding practices, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Optimize application performance through JVM tuning, concurrency management, and distributed tracing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with 5+ years in Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java (11/17/21), including multithreading, concurrency, and collections.
• Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring Cloud, and Spring Batch.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments.
• 3+ years of technical leadership or team lead experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Integration and building reusable frameworks.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC compliance and treasury services.
