Description

Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of high-scale, cross-functional payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical initiatives spanning multiple teams or departments.
• Deliver production-ready code independently with minimal guidance.
• Implement distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
• Design APIs and build RESTful services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the payments industry.
• Proficiency with Java and Ruby.
• Deep understanding of async programming models including events, callbacks, promises, and async/await.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and caching solutions.
• Experience with message queuing, data streaming, and workflow frameworks.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
